We are looking for writers, photographers, illustrators, poets, storytellers and artists of all kinds — from here in the Eastern Cape, across South Africa, and from anywhere on the continent that has a story the world needs to hear.

We are not looking for polished press releases or keyword-optimised content. We are looking for human beings who have witnessed something and want to put it into words, images, or form.

Our editor Roy Hewett reviews every submission. Accepted contributors join us for a brief onboarding call before final submission. Our standard is craft, honesty, and the Ubuntu thread that connects all our stories.
